How to pass the CCSE (2026 study plan)
The CCSE is very passable: every exam question comes from the official CCSE 2026 Manual, and you need only 15 of 25 correct. Here is a plan that works.
Know the format
| Task | Topic | Questions |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Government, law and civic participation | 10 |
| 2 | Fundamental rights and duties | 3 |
| 3 | Territorial organisation and geography | 2 |
| 4 | Spanish culture and history | 3 |
| 5 | Spanish society and everyday procedures | 7 |
45 minutes, no negative marking — never leave a question blank.
A 2-week plan
- Days 1–4: Task 1 (government and law, 10 questions in the exam). Aim for 80%+.
- Days 5–6: Tasks 2 and 3 (rights, territory).
- Days 7–9: Tasks 4 and 5 (culture, history, society — 10 exam questions together).
- Days 10–13: one timed 25-question mock a day; re-study only the questions you got wrong.
- Day 14: light review. Bring your ID and registration receipt.
Tips
- The exam is written in peninsular Spanish; use the official multilingual glossary if a word blocks you.
- Results take about 20 days; the certificate is valid for 4 years.
- If you fail or miss the exam, your €85 fee covers a second attempt.
